En promedio, una persona mira su teléfono inteligente 150 veces al díapara revisar sus redes sociales, hacer llamadas, tomar fotos y video, lo que provoca adicción a estos dispositivos, señala la empresa en telecomunicaciones Alcatel-Lucent.
Se estima que alrededor del mundo existen 14 mil millones de dispositivos conectados a internet, con lo cual el número de usuarios con teléfonos inteligentes va en aumento, aseguró la firma con motivo del Día Mundial del Internet, que se conmemorará el próximo 17 de mayo.
La firma detalló en un comunicado que 73 por ciento de las personas en el mundo entran en pánico si pierden su teléfono móvil, y 38 por ciento navegan en internet cuando están en el baño. Además, 35 por ciento usan el smartphone mientras conducen y 28 por ciento leen sobre productos en línea mientras hacen compras.
Las aplicaciones más usadas al mes son Facebook, con 86 millones de usuarios; Google Maps, con 75 millones; Google Play, con 61 millones; Gmail, con 54 millones; YouTube, con 53 millones, yiTunes, con 45 millones de usuarios.
Agregó que las redes serán escalables de forma masiva, dinámicas, compartidas y en gran parte virtualizadas, por lo que se prevé que para 2020 existan 100 mil millones de cosas conectadas
