Jan-Christian Dreesen, miembro del comité ejecutivo del Bayern Munich, ha admitido que el club bávaro podría gastarse 100 millones de euros en la contratación de una estrella mundial en el proximo mercado de fichajes.
Hasta ahora, los campeones de la Bundesliga no han desembolsado tantas cantidades como los grandes de La Liga y la Premier League, siendo la llegada de Javi Martínez por 40 millones en el año 2012 su fichaje récord. Sin embargo, Dreesen ha reconocido que podrían emular a Real Madrid, Barcelona o Manchester United y pagar cifras más cercanas a la cuota del récord mundial de Gareth Bale para una estrella.
“Sería fácil decir Bayern nunca pagaría 100 millones para un jugador. No quiero decirlo, sin embargo, porque no me gusta que dar marcha atrás en el futuro. Así que sí, el Bayern podría gastar 100 millones en algún jugador. Tendrá que ser una inversión inteligente. No sólo queremos comprar a los jugadores más caros, han de encajar en el Bayern”, dijo a Kicker.
A su vez, habló también del tope salarial: “Los jugadores que cobran 10 millones o más son muy pocos, aunque creo que los salarios seguirán aumentando. Todavía tenemos que estudiar los salarios y las demandas de los jugadores. Tengo la impresión de que el consejo del entrenador es muy importante. Los mejores jugadores son mucho más caros que antes. Y con el nuevo reparto de televisión, los salarios no disminuirán a corto plazo. Así que el Bayern tendrá que cuidar de sus jugadores para no perderlos”.
