Todo el revuelo surgió a partir de una información que publicó el diario “The Sun”, según la cual un taxista escuchó una conversación en la que, dos individuos hablaban sobre sus planes de secuestrar o robar a la intérprete de la saga “Harry Potter”.
Los hombres desconocedores de que el conductor podía entender el idioma en el que hablaban (según el diario procedían de Europa del este), comentaron que trabajaban en el set de filmación de la película “Beauty and the Beast”.
El chofer del taxi reportó lo que escuchó a sus gerentes los cuales se encargaron de alertar a los estudios de grabación.
Varios medios han tratado de contactar a los representantes de la actriz y no han recibido ningún tipo de comentarios al respecto.
Fuentes de la productora Disney citadas por el «Daily Mail» niegan que se haya producido un intento de secuestro: “El departamento de producción ha contrastado la historia y encontramos que está carente de fundamento”.
Por su parte, la policía aseguró al “Daily Mail” que no han recibido ninguna denuncia al respecto.
