Muncie.- La policía estatal de Indiana, en Estados Unidos, clausuró el baño de un Walmart, después que un empleado encontró un laboratorio funcional de metanfetamina en el interior.
De acuerdo con autoridades locales, cada vez es más frecuente que las personas dedicadas a fabricar ese tipo de drogas lleven a cabo su producción en lugares públicos.
“Están dejando las «peligrosas sustancias químicas en lugares públicos para regresar luego a recibir el producto terminado«, en vez de arriesgarse a explosiones y contaminación en sus propias casas, explicó la policía estatal.
En cuanto al laboratorio hallado dentro de la tienda de autoservicio, la policía estatal informó ue un empleado alertó a las autoridades después de ver a un hombre al que describió como sospechoso entrar en el baño el jueves, alrededor de las 23:30 horas con una mochila y salir sin ella.
Según publica el diario Star Press, miembros de un equipo de supresión de metanfetamina de la policía estatal sacaron las peligrosas sustancias químicas, no obstante, el baño en cuestión, y otro de mujeres cercano, hasta que una compañía los pueda «descontaminar».
