Archiven esto en la categoría de lo “increíblemente real”… una nueva película de Bob Esponja llega en 2015, y a diferencia de lo que muchos podrían esperar (que sea una caricatura más llevada a la pantalla grande), esta vez Nickelodeon fue más allá y puso a sus personajes en tres dimensiones.
Hay motivos por el que algunas personas pueden a odiar a Bob Esponja, pues su voz chillona y actitud bonachona no son para todos, sin embargo, quien haya visto la caricatura sabrá que a través de los capítulos hay referencias sumamente entretenidas hacia héroes como Aquaman, películas de culto como Nosferatu e incluso Bruce Lee, además de participaciones especiales de bandas de metal y un episodio donde el propio Pat Morita (Miyagi, en Karate Kid), dio su voz a un “maestro” de artes marciales.
Así es que en 2015 habrá que ver cómo es que Nickelodeon tratará de “dar la vuelta” a un personaje que este año cumple 15 años de existencia. Después de todo, el mismo estudio se puso las pilas para presentar la película de las Tortugas Ninja con un toque completamente inesperado, así que no podemos decir que no se esté tratando de hacer algo distinto a “lo de siempre”.
