Reino Unido.- La joven de 22 años Nargis Riaz, mientras tuvo una relación sentimental con Mohammed Yasser Afzal, le mandó fotos desnuda y permitió que le tomara fotos cuando tenían relaciones sexuales, pero rompió con él cuando se volvió controlador.
En ese momento Gulam Chowdhury, quien fue su novio en la adolescencia, salió de prisión y retomaron la relación sentimental; pero Afzal, la amenazó, diciéndole que si no volvían, haría públicas las fotos íntimas.
Por lo que la joven Nargis Riaz, le dijo a su novio que le gustaría que su exnovio fuera eliminado. Un día ella fue a ver Afzal a la compañía de taxis donde él trabajaba, en ese momento un encapuchado llegó y lo atacó veinte veces con un machete, lo que fue registrado por las cámaras del circuito cerrado de televisión.
La joven al ver las imágenes ante la corte, lloró y dijo que nunca lo quiso muerto, también aseguró que no sabía que Chowdhury, de 24 años, iba a llegar esa noche a atacarlo.
Pese a que los mensajes de texto que el atacante y Riaz se enviaban era evidente que ambos sabían lo que pasaría, el jurado la declaró inocente, mientras que Chowdhury fue condenado a 28 años de prisión.
