LOS ÁNGELES – Geoffrey Lewis, un prolífico actor de televisión y compañero de reparto frecuente de Clint Eastwood, ha muerto. Tenía 79 años.
Lewis falleció el martes, confirmó el miércoles Carleen Donovan, publicista de su hija, la actriz Juliette Lewis.
Entre los créditos del veterano actor de carácter con Eastwood destacan «High Plains Drifter», «Thunderbolt and Lightfoot», «Every Which Way But Loose», y su continuación, así como «Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil», entre otros.
Fue nominado al Globo de Oro por la serie de televisión «Flo» y también apareció en programas como «La reportera del crimen», «The A-Team», y «Misión: Imposible».
