Ecuador.- El escritor ecuatoriano Miguel Donoso Pareja, falleció ayer 16 de Marzo a sus 82 años en su ciudad natal, así lo confirmó el Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio de Ecuador a través de su cuenta de Twitter.
Su actual esposo Isabel Huerta de Donoso dijo a un diario local que el escritor estuvo internado en un hospital desde el viernes 13 de marzo, y que murió en el establecimiento de su salud.
Donoso nació el 13 de julio de 1939 y fue un referente inportante en la literatura latinoamericana, publicó libros de narativa, ensayo y poesía, entre los más importantes están: «Henry Black» (1969), «Sin ánimo de ofender» (1986), «Última canción del exiliado» (1989), «Hoy empiezo a acordarme» (1994) y «Ecuador: Identidad o esquizofrenía» (1998).
En 2007 recibió el Premio de Literatura Eugenia Espejo, recientemente fue homenajeado en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Quito, el pasado mes de noviembre de 2014.
