Tener un bonito rostro y cuerpo a veces puede ser una desventaja, expresó la actriz colombiana Sofia Vergara.
Aunque la escultural barranquillera ha triunfado en Hollywood consiguiendo papeles en la televisión y el cine, ella dice que no ha sido fácil.
“[Tener un buen cuerpo] significa que no puedes interpretar papeles normales”, dijo la actriz durante una entrevista con el periódico The Sun.
Vergara confesó que su despampanante físico la ha ayudado conseguir papeles en la televisión pero no en películas.
“No puedo dar vida a una chica corriente, por lo que trato de encontrar personajes que me permitan explotar mi aspecto y personalidad para seguir avanzando en mi carrera”, agregó.
Desde una temprana edad, Vergara dice haber llamado la atención por su aspecto físico. Eso fue lo que la llevo a casarse a los 18 años con Joe González.
“Fue un alivio conocer a mi [ex] marido porque entonces ya no tuve que lidiar con ser perseguida”.
