Este verano, NBCUniversal y su Grupo de Empresas Hispanas se han unido con OpenIDEO, una plataforma de innovación social, para inspirar a todos los grupos socioeconómicos y multiculturales a llevar vidas más saludables a través del uso de la tecnología. OpenIDEO permite a gente de todo el mundo colaborar para resolver problemas sociales a través de retos patrocinados.
El proceso comienza haciéndole una pregunta al público. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de educarse sobre el problema, idear soluciones, colaborar con los demás y proponer las ideas más innovadoras.
El equipo de NBCUniversal junto con OpenIDEO plantearon la siguiente pregunta:
¿Cómo podemos usar la tecnología para inspirar a todos los grupos socioeconómicos y multiculturales a llevar vidas más saludables?
El objetivo del Reto Vidas Saludables es buscar un conjunto de soluciones aplicables usando la tecnología para mejorar la salud de todos, con un enfoque particular en la creciente población hispana en Estados Unidos.
El Reto solicitará ideas innovadoras y escalables para usar el poder de los medios de comunicación y la tecnología, con el objetivo de ayudar a toda clase de personas a vivir vidas más sanas. NBCUniversal está dedicado a inspirar vidas saludables y recientemente lanzó America Reimagined y Prevenir es Vivir, iniciativas con la meta de reducir el riesgo de enfermedades prevenibles en la comunidad hispanoamericana, a través de sensibilización y el acceso a la información.
El Reto Vidas Saludables inició el 6 de mayo de 2015 y continúa en la fase de ideas, durante la cual la comunidad de OpenIDEO comenzará a familiarizarse con la problemática actual y publicará sus soluciones mostrando a los demás cómo convertir sus ideas en realidad. El Reto continuará hasta el fin del verano de 2015 y culminará con el anuncio de Las Mejores Ideas el 20 de agosto.
