El fallecido Paul Walker sigue muy presente en la vida de su amigo Vin Diesel. El intérprete de ‘Fast & Furious’ quedó devastado tras el trágico accidente de coche que se cobró la vida de su “hermano” en noviembre de 2013, por eso, en su memoria, Vin ha decidido llamar a su nueva hija Pauline.
“La he llamado Pauline. No había otra persona en la que estuviera pensando mientras cortaba el cordón umbilical. Supe que él estaba allí, sentí que era la forma de mantener su memoria como parte de mi memoria, una parte de mi vida”, reveló el actor en el programa ‘Today’.
Vin -que también es padre de Hania (6) y Vincent (4) junto a su novia Paloma Jiménez- ya había contado previamente cómo era la estrecha relación que sus hijos mantenían con Paul -padre de Meadow (16) junto a su exnovia Rebecca Soteros- y lo mucho que al actor le gustaba ejercer de “tío” de los pequeños. Así, en el aniversario de la muerte de Paul, subió a las redes sociales una foto de Hania con su amigo, y escribió:
“Él era una parte muy importante de mi vida… hablaba mucho con mi madre y cuidaba de Alpha Angel… le llenaba de orgullo ser el tío Pablo… Después de todo, estábamos rodando una escena de ‘Fast & Furious 4′ el día en el que nació, y él, que fue al único que se lo conté, me animó a ir y cortar el cordón umbilical. [Paul] Fue una parte importante de mi transición a la paternidad… Era el miembro saludable de la familia, con el punto de vista más positivo de la vida… Hoy hace un año… un año de pena… y su ausencia me sigue dejando sin palabras. Te echamos de menos Pablo”.
