La actriz británica Keira Knightley y su esposo, el músico James Righton, han sido padres de su primer hijo en común, informaron medios estadounidenses especializados, entre ellos People y Us Weekly.
Se desconoce por ahora el sexo del bebé y los representantes de la intérprete tampoco han confirmado el lugar donde nació, aunque la prensa especializada asegura que el parto se produjo recientemente en Londres.
El embarazo de la doble nominada al Óscar («Pride & Prejudice», 2005; «The Imitation Game», 2014) fue confirmado en diciembre.
La actriz, de 30 años, se casó en mayo de 2013 en el sur de Francia con Righton, de 31 años, cantante y teclista de la banda Klaxons.
Knightley, conocida por su trabajo en la saga «Pirates of the Caribbean», siempre ha optado por la discreción y ha evitado hablar del embarazo, aunque en febrero sí se pronunció al respecto durante el programa The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
«¿No hay opción de que se quede dentro, verdad? Mi plan es hacer que salga», dijo entre risas. «Lo echaré y seguiré trabajando. Pasar a recogerlo después es mi plan. Sería estupendo para un programa de televisión, aunque no tanto para mí», añadió.
Knightley y Righton hicieron pública su relación en abril de 2011.
