México.- Un sismo de 6.8 grados Richter se registró la madrugada de este miércoles en el noreste de Japón, informó la Agencia Meteorológica de ese país.
Hasta el momento no se ha emitido alguna alerta de tsunami ni existen reportes de víctimas o daños materiales.
La Agencia Meteorológica de Japón detalló que el sismo ocurrió a las 06:13 horas locales (20:30 GMT del martes) y se sintió principalmente en las prefecturas de Iwate y Miyagi, donde fue suspendido el servicio del tren de bala por seguridad.
En las instalaciones de energía nuclear tampoco se reportan hasta el momento falas o anomalías, indicó la agencia japonesa de noticias Kyodo.
Japón ha reforzado sus medidas de protección civil desde el sismo y maremoto que causó más de 20 mil muertos en marzo de 2011
