Una de las razones por las que Ben Affleck y Jennifer Garner habrían decidido poner punto final a su matrimonio de una década, tal y como anunciaron este martes, sería la estrecha amistad que el actor aún mantiene con su exprometida, Jennifer López.
“Todo el mundo está hablando de JLo y de Ben, y de cómo resulta inevitable que vuelvan a estar juntos en algún momento. Les llaman el Richard Burton y la Liz Taylor de Hollywood (por su tormentosa relación). En los pasados Óscar no dejaron de coquetear y se han mantenido en contacto vía correo electrónico todos estos años. Es algo que nunca le gustó a Jennifer Garner”, explicó una fuente al periódico The Sun.
Otro de los motivos que precipitaron el divorcio del matrimonio fueron los problemas personales de Ben, quien decidió volver a beber para preparar su personaje de la película Perdida a pesar de que llevaba sobrio desde 2001. Además, el actor también se perdió la fiesta de cumpleaños de su ya exesposa el pasado mes de abril y la celebración por el día de la madre en mayo, dejando plantada a Jennifer con los tres hijos que tienen en común: Violet (9), Seraphina (6) y Samuel (3).
“Es un problema que lleva ahí mucho tiempo, es un milagro que Jennifer haya aguantado tanto. Lo ha intentado a fondo, pero Ben ha vuelto a las andadas. Volvió a beber mientras rodaba Perdida y ha estado apostando mucho. Jen estaba harta de que volara a Las Vegas para acudir a partidas privadas y de que se perdiera las vacaciones familiares para poder hacer viajes en solitario. En su casa prácticamente no hay alcohol, así que Ben siempre desaparecía cuando quería desahogarse”
