Marsella.- Un coche de la policía fue atacado por varios hombres armados poco antes de las 11:00tiempo local de este lunes en Castellane, al norte de Marsella en Francia.
Los hombres iban encapuchados y dispararon al paso de los policías con fusiles kalashnikov, según informa la policía local.
Le Figaro, señala que el incidente se trataría de un ajuste de cuentas entre bandas rivales en relación con la disputa por un punto de venta de drogas entre dos grupos de cinco a diez personas.
Los hechos coinciden con la visita del primer ministro francés, Manuel Valls, a Marsella, donde está previsto que resalte la reducción de la delincuencia en la ciudad.
Aun cuando el director de la policía de Marsella, Pierre-Marie Bourniquel, se ha visto implicado en medio del tiroteo, ningún agente habría resultado herido, según France info.
Después del ataque, policías del cuerpo elite fueron enviados al lugar del ataque,y a pedir a las 7.000 personas que viven en este popular barrio que no salgan de sus casas.
