La Federación Japonesa anuncia el despido de Javier Aguirre. Luego del fracaso de Japón en la Copa Asiática de Naciones Australia 2015 y por estar implicado en el escandalo de amaño del partido entre Levante-Zaragoza de 2011.
La noticia fue anunciada por el presidente de la Federacion Japonesa de Fútbol (JFA), Kuniya Daini, en conferencia de prensa celebrada en Tokio, Japón.
“Lamentamos que esto tenga que acabar así. Pero tenemos que dar prioridad al equipo”, fueron las palabras de Kuniya Daini, luego de dar a conocer el cese del entrenador mexicano.
“Ha sido un placer haber podido trabajar en Japón, y agradezco el apoyo de todos aficionados nipones. Deseo la mejor suerte para el equipo en el futuro”, fue lo que dijo Javier Aguirre, después de anunciarse su destitución.
Javier Aguirre se encuentra entre los 42 implicados en el supuesto amaño del encuentro entre Levante-Zaragoza, disputado el 21 de junio de 2011, que gano Zaragoza por 2-1 y que los ayudo a que no se fueran a la Liga Adelante.
El ”Vasco” debe comparecer ante el Juzgado de Instrucción número 8 de Valencia, el próximo 25 de febrero.
