LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ante la orgullosa mirada de su madre y alrededor de un centenar de admiradores, Los Tigres del Norte develaron el jueves su estrella en el Paseo de la Fama.
Ataviados en traje y corbata, los hermanos Jorge, Hernán, Eduardo y Luis Hernández y su primo Oscar Lara, intérpretes de éxitos como «Jefe de jefes», se convirtieron en la primera agrupación de música regional mexicana en ser incorporada al famoso bulevar de Hollywood.
Hernán, quien dijo que trajeron a toda la familia desde México en dos autobuses, le dedicó el reconocimiento a su progenitora, Consuelo Angulo, a quien llamó «la verdadera jefa de jefes». Y al público le dijo: «Esta estrella es para ustedes y de ustedes».
La señora Angulo traía una bandera mexicana que Hernán, tras darle un abrazo, tomó para que Los Tigres posaran con ella junto a la estrella mientras los presentes entonaban el clásico «México lindo y querido». La madre luego abrazó a todos sus hijos y a su sobrino.
También estuvo presente el astro mexicano Marco Antonio Solís, quien igualmente se fotografió con sus colegas y amigos.
Además de cantar, el público coreó la insignia, «¡Sí se pudo! ¡Sí se pudo!».
