Todos sabemos ya a estas alturas que el boxeador filipino Manny Pacquiao fue derrotado por Floyd Mayweather en la llamada «pelea del siglo», pero tras el combate, el filipino reveló algo que fue clave para la pelea.
Según cita el diario británico The Telegraph, el boxeador empleó un solo brazo durante el combate debido a una lesión en el hombro derecho, declaró su promotor Bob Arum.
En la rueda de prensa posterior a la pelea, Many volvió a confirmar su lesión: «No podía usar bien el hombro. No quiero poner excusas ni quejarme… pero es difícil pelear con una mano», recalcó
También tras la pelea se supo que las autoridades de Nevada rechazaron la solicitud del boxeador de recibir una inyección antiinflamatoria antes del enfrentamiento.
La pelea terminó en 12 asaltos y contó con la presencia de famosos y estrellas como Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber, Beyonce y su marido, Tom Brady, Bradley Cooper y Robert de Niro entre otros.
