MEXICO (AP) — El presidente Enrique Peña Nieto promulgó el lunes las leyes que rigen la histórica apertura de la industria petrolera y eléctrica a la inversión de compañías privadas y al capital extranjero.
Peña dijo que el gobierno permitirá que los inversionistas potenciales sepan desde el miércoles cuáles bloques de yacimientos de gas y petróleo estarán abiertos para ellos. De acuerdo con las nuevas reglas, la compañía estatal Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) tiene derecho a elegir primero los yacimientos que quiere para sí, y Peña dijo que esos yacimientos apartados también se darán a conocer el miércoles.
El mandatario también prometió empezar a establecer las agencias reguladoras y supervisoras que implementarán las nuevas reglas a finales de agosto.
