SEATTLE, abr. 14 (UPI) — Luego de escuchar fuertes ruidos provenientes de la parte de abajo del avión, pilotos de un vuelo de Alaska Airlines decidieron regresar al Aeropuerto Internacional Seattle-Tacoma minutos después del despegue.
Una vez ahí los empleados del terminal hallaron a un agente de rampa atrapado en la zona de carga del avión. «El agente de rampa parecía estar bien y fue transportado al hospital como precaución», dijo la aerolínea en un comunicado sobre el particular incidente ocurrido la tarde del lunes.
El vuelo 448 se dirigía al Aeropuerto Internacional de Los Ángeles cuando se dio la interrupción 14 minutos después del despegue. El capitán declaró una emergencia para un aterrizaje prioritario al regresar al terminal en el estado de Washington luego de escuchar los ruidos.
«Luego de aterrizar, el agente, un empleado de Menzies Aviation, caminó por su propia cuenta fuera del avión de la zona de carga, la cual está presurizada y con una temperatura controlada. Luego de salir le dijo a las autoridades que se había quedado dormido», continuó el comunicado.
El portal FlightRadar24 publicó en su cuenta de Twitter la ruta completa que siguió el ‘accidentado’ vuelo de Alaska Airlines.
